Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic imaging procedures including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and portable procedures for all age ranges (neonates through geriatrics) • Conduct various imaging studies including chest, abdomen, extremities, spine, contrast studies, barium enemas, and upper GI series • Operate imaging equipment including C-Arm, PACS systems, and equipment from manufacturers like Philips and Siemens • Provide imaging services in multiple settings including ER trauma, operating room, ICU, NICU, and PICU • Perform bedside and portable procedures throughout the facility • Complete fluoroscopy procedures including esophagrams, upper GI studies, small bowel follow-through, enemas, HSG, and arthrograms • Conduct walk-in X-ray examinations and DEXA scans • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for procedures • Maintain current BLS and ARRT R certifications • Complete 10 hours of fluoroscopy-specific training as required by state regulations • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Work rotating Saturday shifts and be available for day shift hours between facility operating times • Float within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed to meet facility requirements • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Maintain valid state licensure and required certifications • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care and safety protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
