Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Work in both Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) units with EP being a large part of the assignment
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) or RCES certifications
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations including STEMI procedures
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including IABP, Impella, and Tandem Heart devices
• Assist with structural heart procedures such as PFO, TAVR, and Mitral Clip
• Support interventional radiology procedures including line placements, drain insertions, and embolizations
• Participate in CRM device implants and neurointervention procedures
• Maintain sterile field as scrub technician during procedures
• Perform accurate hemodynamic monitoring and EKG lead placement
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Work on-call shifts 3 nights per week for 2 hours per night
• Float within scope to other units and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty
• Maintain valid state licensure and required certifications
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
