Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform electrophysiology procedures including cardiac mapping, ablation, and arrhythmia induction
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Support interventional radiology procedures including embolizations, line placements, and thrombectomy
• Perform pacemaker and AICD insertion and programming
• Conduct electrophysiology evaluations and conduction studies
• Assist with structural heart procedures including TAVR, mitral clip, and LAA closure
• Maintain sterile technique and scrub to maintain sterile field
• Set up and operate specialized equipment for EP and cath lab procedures
• Perform accurate hemodynamic monitoring and EKG lead placement
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
• Document procedures using Epic charting system
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Participate in on-call coverage 3 nights per week for 2 hours per night
• Float between departments and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment
• Maintain valid state licensure and required certifications
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
