Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform catheterization lab and electrophysiology procedures with facility training provided for EP procedures • Execute diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations including STEMI procedures • Operate and maintain specialized equipment including IABP, Impella, and Tandem Heart devices • Conduct structural heart procedures such as PFO, TAVR, and Mitral Clip procedures • Perform interventional radiology procedures including lines, drains, embolizations, and stroke thrombectomy • Assist with CRM device implants and neurointervention procedures • Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) or RCIS certifications • Provide on-call coverage 3 nights per week for 2 hours per night • Float between catheterization lab and electrophysiology lab as needed • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Work 4x10 hour day shifts as scheduled • Maintain sterile field and scrub techniques during procedures • Perform accurate hemodynamic monitoring and baseline measurements • Execute EKG lead placement and rhythm interpretation • Operate Philips X-Ray System and McKesson systems • Handle variety of atherectomy and thrombectomy devices • Complete required compliance documentation and maintain valid state licensure • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
