Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic imaging procedures including chest, abdomen, spine, extremity, and trauma imaging for all age ranges • Operate fluoroscopy equipment for C-arm procedures and contrast studies • Provide portable imaging services throughout the hospital including ED, ICU, NICU, PICU, and operating rooms • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for imaging procedures • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and image management • Maintain current BLS and ARRT R certifications • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Float between departments and affiliate hospitals as needed • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Maintain valid state licensure • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required • Perform imaging for diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
