Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech Cardiac Imaging to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiographic examinations and cardiac imaging procedures
• Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic images of the heart
• Work dayshift schedule from 07:00 to 15:30
• Maintain current Echo Technologist certification and registration
• Complete required COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccinations
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete 2-step PPD or IGRA testing for tuberculosis screening
• Pass required physical examination and health assessment
• Complete 9-panel drug screening and background check verification
• Maintain valid professional license and certificate verification
• Complete mandatory compliance training and competency testing
• Participate in Joint Commission testing requirements
• Complete specialty-specific competency assessments
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete required documentation and system access forms
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
