Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures and examinations • Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently • Position patients appropriately for imaging studies • Maintain current professional licensure and certifications • Complete required competency testing and skills assessments • Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures • Document patient information and examination results accurately • Complete mandatory health screenings and vaccinations • Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information • Follow facility policies and procedures • Complete required background checks and compliance documentation • Participate in continuing education and training programs • Work scheduled shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday • Ensure proper equipment maintenance and quality control • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
