Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures and technical operations
• Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently
• Position patients appropriately for imaging procedures
• Monitor patients during MRI scans for safety and comfort
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete required competency testing and skills assessments
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines
• Document imaging procedures and patient information accurately
• Maintain required immunizations and health screenings
• Complete mandatory training programs and continuing education
• Follow facility policies and procedures for patient care
• Ensure proper maintenance and quality control of MRI equipment
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Work scheduled shifts including Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
