Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for labor and delivery patients during 12-hour night shifts (1900-0730)
• Maintain current RN license and complete license verification requirements
• Complete required health screenings including fit testing, drug screening, and physical/health statement
• Obtain and maintain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for Labor and Delivery
• Perform skills checklist assessments and maintain clinical competencies
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and integrity policies
• Complete criminal background check and education verification processes
• Maintain confidentiality agreements for patient information and system security
• Complete required conflict of interest disclosure documentation
• Participate in color vision testing as required for clinical duties
• Submit to ongoing compliance monitoring including EPLS and GSA/OIG screening
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
