Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - L&D to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Columbus, OH. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients during 12-hour day shifts (0700-1930)
• Maintain current nursing licensure and complete license verification requirements
• Complete mandatory health screenings including fit testing, drug screening, and immunization requirements
• Obtain and maintain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, tuberculosis screening, and varicella
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing for labor and delivery nursing
• Perform skills checklist assessments and maintain clinical competencies
• Complete criminal background check and education verification processes
• Adhere to organizational code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Maintain NSO professional liability coverage
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure and integrity audit documentation
• Participate in system access training and security protocols
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete physical/health statement documentation
• Respond to COVID-19 screening questionnaires as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
