Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Rehab in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans using GE 16 slice scanner including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis with and without contrast • Conduct X-ray imaging using Siemens portable equipment and GE C-arm for MBS studies • Perform CT arthrography, brain perfusion studies, and vascular CTA procedures • Conduct biopsy procedures under CT guidance • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when needed • Maintain radiation safety protocols and standards • Utilize PACS system for image management and storage • Document patient care and procedures using Epic charting system • Provide imaging services for musculoskeletal trauma cases • Follow isolation precautions protocols when required • Float between facilities as needed to meet operational requirements • Participate in on-call rotation 2-3 nights per week • Work every Sunday as part of weekend coverage • Maintain current BLS certification throughout assignment • Maintain current ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications • Complete required training modules pre-start and annually • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
