Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Rehab in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures using GE 16 slice scanner • Provide X-ray coverage using Siemens portable and GE C-arm equipment for MBS studies • Conduct imaging procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis studies with and without contrast • Perform specialized procedures such as biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when necessary • Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT-R, ARRT-CT certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions • Work with PACS system for image management • Provide coverage for adult acute care and musculoskeletal trauma cases • Float between facilities as needed to meet operational requirements • Complete on-call duties 2-3 nights per week • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Maintain valid state licensure and required certifications • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
