Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Rehab in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures using GE 16 slice scanner • Provide X-ray coverage using Siemens portable and GE C-arm for MBS studies • Conduct various imaging studies including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and musculoskeletal trauma scans • Perform CT procedures with and without contrast media • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when needed • Conduct specialized procedures including biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA • Maintain current BLS, ARRT-R, and ARRT-CT certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Follow radiation safety protocols and procedures • Maintain isolation precautions when required • Operate PACS system for image management • Float between units within the hospital and to affiliate hospitals as needed • Provide on-call coverage 2-3 nights per week • Work every Sunday as part of shift requirements • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Complete required training modules pre-start and annually • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty • Maintain valid state licensure • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
