Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Rehab in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures using GE 16 slice scanner • Conduct X-ray imaging using Siemens portable and GE C-arm equipment for MBS studies • Provide imaging services for abdomen, brain, chest, head, pelvis, and musculoskeletal trauma cases • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture procedures • Conduct CT arthrography and vascular CTA procedures • Perform brain perfusion studies and biopsy procedures • Maintain current BLS, ARRT-R, and ARRT-CT certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Follow radiation safety protocols and procedures • Maintain PACS system for image management • Implement isolation precautions when necessary • Float between facilities as needed to meet patient care demands • Take call 2-3 nights per week in low volume setting • Work Sunday shifts as part of 4x10 schedule • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year employment • Maintain valid state licensure and certifications • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
