Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic technologist duties including X-ray imaging procedures
• Work night shifts Friday through Sunday from 7pm to 7:30am
• Conduct imaging for extremities, abdomen/GE, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies
• Perform upper and lower extremity imaging procedures
• Operate surgery/C-arm equipment during procedures
• Maintain current ARRT R certification and state licensure
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Obtain and maintain Fluoro Permit as required
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Provide imaging services for patients of all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Perform portable chest and abdomen imaging as needed
• Conduct contrast studies and prepare/administer contrast media
• Work in various departments including ER, ICU, NICU, PICU, and Operating Room
• Complete 40 hours of orientation training
• Complete required modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours)
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Accept 2-4 call shifts per month as preferred
• Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years
• Maintain transportation via personal vehicle for assignment requirements
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
