Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT technologist duties including routine CT and radiology related exams
• Work Monday through Friday 0630-1500 schedule with block scheduling
• Handle both CT and radiology exams during night shift coverage when applicable
• Maintain current BLS and ARRT R certifications
• Provide 2-4 days of department call coverage per month
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records
• Work with various CT equipment including GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba
• Perform CT scans on diverse patient populations including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Conduct various CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, musculoskeletal trauma, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic imaging
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required
• Start peripheral IVs when necessary
• Follow isolation precautions protocols
• Handle emergency interventional radiology cases in CT as needed
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Maintain valid state licensure and certifications
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required
• Use facility-provided communication devices when necessary
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
