Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT and radiology examinations for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Work scheduled shifts Wednesday through Sunday, 1400-2230, 40 hours per week • Take call 2-4 days per month for emergency and urgent cases • Operate CT equipment including GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, or Toshiba systems • Perform CT scans of abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic regions with and without contrast • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for examinations • Start peripheral IVs when needed for contrast administration • Handle musculoskeletal trauma imaging cases • Follow isolation precautions protocols when treating patients • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Provide both CT and general radiology services during night shifts due to low volume • Work weekend shifts including Saturday and Sunday coverage • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Maintain current BLS certification throughout assignment • Maintain current ARRT R certification • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (average 16 hours) • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years • Commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Complete 40 hours of orientation training • Maintain valid state licensure and required certifications
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
