Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures including 3D rendering (Maximum intensity projection, Surface shaded displays, Volume rendering)
• Conduct abdomen, chest, head, and pelvis scans without and/or with contrast
• Perform specialized procedures including brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA
• Provide imaging services for emergency department and ICU patients
• Perform trauma imaging including head trauma and musculoskeletal trauma
• Conduct biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures under CT guidance
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when needed
• Utilize PACS system for image management and storage
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest measurements (ROI)
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and standards
• Document patient care and procedures using Epic charting system
• Work with patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Follow isolation precautions protocols when required
• Complete required training modules pre-start and annually
• Maintain current ARRT CT certification and BLS certification
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work scheduled shifts Tuesday and Thursday-Friday 0730-2000
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• Complete 80 hours of orientation
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
