Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Oregon City, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic imaging procedures including routine radiology and fluoroscopy exams • Operate imaging equipment for portable x-ray and c-arm procedures • Conduct imaging procedures in various settings including imaging department and surgery • Perform imaging on diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Handle daily census of 10-30 exams across 3 imaging rooms • Execute specific imaging procedures including abdomen, chest, spine, extremity, and contrast studies • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Operate C-Arm equipment for surgical procedures • Utilize PACS system for image management and storage • Maintain ARRT R and BLS certifications • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Work Monday through Friday 0800-1630 shift schedule • Participate in 2-4 days of department call per month • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and other support services • Maintain valid state licensure and certification requirements • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience • Complete compliance documentation and background requirements • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required • Adhere to facility policies and dress code requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
