Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including extremities, abdomen/GE, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies
• Operate imaging equipment for upper and lower extremity examinations
• Conduct surgical procedures using C-Arm equipment in operating room settings
• Provide radiologic services across multiple patient populations including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work scheduled shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 PM to 4:30 AM
• Participate in 2-4 call shifts per month as preferred
• Maintain current ARRT R, BLS, and Fluoro Permit certifications
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required
• Complete 40 hours of orientation training upon assignment start
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules averaging 16 hours
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years
• Maintain valid Oregon state licensure
• Commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Maintain reliable transportation for assignment requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
