Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scan procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and contrast studies • Perform general X-ray procedures for part of shift working independently • Operate dual modality equipment including 2 CT units (both GE) and various X-ray equipment • Perform 3D rendering including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering • Conduct multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest measurement (ROI) • Prepare and administer contrast media for imaging procedures • Start peripheral IVs as required for contrast administration • Perform specialized imaging including carotid, vascular CTA, and trauma studies • Utilize Epic charting system and PACS for documentation and image management • Maintain radiation safety protocols and infection control precautions • Provide imaging services for ER, urgent care referral, and inpatient cases • Work with interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory services and rapid response teams • Provide imaging services for patients of all age groups including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Maintain current ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications • Maintain current BLS certification and state licensure • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Work weekend shifts including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights weekly • Commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays as required • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within comparable specialty • Complete 36-hour orientation program • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
