Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - Therapy Rehab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide occupational therapy services in home health setting
• Visit 4-6 patients per day maintaining 27-30 productivity points standard
• Complete OASIS assessments for Start of Care patients
• Utilize HomeCare HomeBase charting system for documentation
• Maintain timely communication and documentation requirements
• Provide skilled hospice and home health services to adult patients
• Travel within assigned territory with occasional radius up to 100 miles
• Maintain current BCLS and NBCOT certifications
• Complete compliance documentation and training programs
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Complete Hospice/Home Health Checklist requirements
• Provide therapeutic services including acute care, cardiac rehabilitation, and activities of daily living
• Work with various patient diagnoses including arthritis, hand injuries, hip and knee replacements
• Utilize therapeutic equipment including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and TENS units
• Fabricate and fit various splints including dynamic, functional, and static splints
• Work with prosthetics for upper extremity, above knee, and below knee patients
• Provide specialized techniques including biofeedback, edema massage, and feeding techniques
• Return all documentation tools and equipment as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
