Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal examinations
• Conduct vascular CTA procedures and contrast administration
• Operate Siemens CT equipment and scanners
• Start peripheral IVs for contrast procedures
• Utilize Epic charting system and Visage PACS for documentation
• Process approximately 200 CT exams daily across 4 imaging rooms
• Provide imaging services for all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Work in emergency department and inpatient settings
• Maintain current BLS and ARRT CT registration certifications
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Work 12-hour weekend shifts Friday through Sunday
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Bring personal dosimeter to assignment
• Comply with fatigue policy limitations of 5 consecutive days and 60 hours per week
• Adhere to royal blue scrub dress code requirements
• Complete facility orientation as determined by CT supervisor
• Provide imaging services for routine CT exams and trauma patients
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
