Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans using Siemens equipment (Definition AS+ and Drive) for approximately 70 exams daily • Provide imaging services for adult acute care, adult outpatient, emergency department, pediatric acute care, and pediatric outpatient patients • Perform CT imaging for Level I and Level II trauma cases • Conduct specialized imaging including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), and region of interest measurement (ROI) • Perform CT scans of head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, spine, sinuses, and other anatomical regions with and without contrast • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for procedures • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture when necessary • Maintain current ARRT and BLS certifications • Document patient information and procedures using Epic charting system • Utilize PACS (Visage) for image management and post-processing • Follow radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions • Work 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday (07:30-18:00) • Participate in call rotation (1-2 weeks during assignment) • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Float to affiliate hospitals when required based on census needs • Maintain valid state licensure (NC or Compact state) • Provide two supervisory references from past 12 months • Adhere to fatigue policy limiting work to maximum 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Complete compliance testing within 48 hours after signing • Attend all orientation sessions without absences
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
