Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures in the emergency department using Siemens and GE scanners • Conduct routine ED scans, Code Stroke protocols, and Level II trauma imaging • Complete CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction • Manage daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms • Provide imaging services for patients of all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and Visage imaging software • Prepare and administer contrast media as required • Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture procedures • Work in fast-paced emergency department environment with quick turnaround times • Maintain current BLS and ARRT(R)(CT) certifications • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (8-10 hours for acute care roles) • Work weekend night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) from 17:45 to 06:15 • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain proper isolation precautions • Collaborate with emergency department team for optimal patient care • Complete compliance documentation and lab testing within 48 hours after signing • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required • Maintain professional appearance in required royal blue scrubs • Be available for flexible start dates based on orientation scheduling
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
