Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab setting for adults and geriatrics • Circulate and scrub for cardiac catheterization procedures • Perform electrophysiology (EP) procedures and manage dysrhythmias • Handle average of 10-16 cases per day • Maintain current ACLS and BCLS certifications • Utilize Epic charting system and Pyxis for documentation and medication management • Operate Prucka (GE) system for cardiac monitoring • Float to other Cath Lab units as needed based on census • Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) • Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Maintain valid NC or Compact state nursing license • Provide two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months • Complete required compliance testing within 48 hours of signing • Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols • Participate in 3-day unit orientation program • Float to affiliate hospitals nearby when required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
