Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in Cath Lab setting for adults and geriatric patients • Circulate and scrub for catheterization procedures • Perform electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures and monitoring • Handle average of 10-16 cases per day • Maintain ACLS and BLS certifications • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Operate Pyxis medication dispensing system and Prucka (GE) equipment • Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias • Implement appropriate isolation precautions as needed • Float to other Cath Lab areas as required based on census needs • Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable training modules pre-start and annually • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) • Complete compliance testing within 48 hours after signing • Maintain valid nursing license (NC or Compact state) • Provide two supervisor references from past 12 months • Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Complete 3-day unit orientation program
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
