Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, and drainages • Execute vascular studies and procedures including upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, and genitourinary studies • Conduct neurological studies and stroke intervention procedures • Operate Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures • Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation • Administer contrast agents safely for various imaging procedures • Handle daily caseload of 13-17 patients • Participate in primary and backup call rotations for weekends and evenings/nights • Work 4x10 day shifts (0730-1800) Monday through Friday • Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT registration • Document procedures using Epic charting system • Complete required non-billable training modules pre-start and annually (8-10 hours) • Attend mandatory hospital orientation during first week of assignment • Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required • Maintain valid state licensure or compact state license • Provide two supervisory references covering previous 12 months of employment • Complete compliance testing within 48 hours of signing • Remain available Monday through Friday of orientation week with no other commitments
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
