Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - EP Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing services in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
• Circulate and scrub for EP procedures and cases
• Handle an average of 10-16 cases per day
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias during procedures
• Implement isolation precautions as required
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Use Pyxis and Prucka (GE) systems for patient care
• Float to Cath Lab as needed based on census and facility requirements
• Work 10-hour shifts from 06:45 - 17:15 with late coverage requirements 1-2 days per week
• Provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Complete required non-billable training modules pre-start and annually (8-10 hours for acute care roles)
• Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week
• Maintain valid NC or Compact state nursing license
• Provide two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months
• Complete facility orientation within 3 days
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Complete testing and compliance requirements within 48 hours of assignment
• Float between units within hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
