Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including vascular studies, neuro procedures, stroke interventions, and body work • Conduct angioplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages procedures • Perform upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access and neurological studies • Operate Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures • Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation • Handle daily caseload of 13-17 patients primarily adults and geriatrics • Work 4x10 day shifts with primary and backup call rotations • Participate in weekend and evening/night on-call rotation schedule • Maintain current BLS and ARRT certifications • Complete required non-billable training modules pre-start and annually • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Maintain availability during orientation week for required classes and training • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required • Complete compliance testing within 48 hours of assignment start • Float to affiliate hospitals as needed based on census and skill requirements • Provide two supervisory references covering previous 12 months of employment
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
