Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Salem, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures following ARRT guidelines for Computerized Tomography
• Operate GE and Toshiba/Canon CT equipment safely and effectively
• Provide patient care services in outpatient setting
• Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media as needed
• Perform various CT procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis studies with and without contrast
• Conduct specialized imaging including coronary CTA, vascular studies, and trauma imaging
• Utilize 3D rendering techniques including MIP, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Perform multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) for enhanced diagnostic imaging
• Document procedures and findings using Epic charting system
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and practices
• Provide care to patients across all age groups from infants to geriatrics
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, respiratory services, and radiology
• Float to affiliate hospitals as required including West Valley Hospital
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Maintain current BLS certification from AHA
• Maintain valid state licensure and ARRT registration in CT
• Follow isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Assist with CT-guided biopsies and interventional procedures
• Ensure quality control and equipment maintenance protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
