Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CT scanning equipment for inpatient and outpatient procedures using 3 CT scanners in main department and 2 CT scanners in ED department • Perform CT imaging procedures for diverse patient populations including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Conduct CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, cervical spine, lumbar spine, thoracic spine, and musculoskeletal trauma cases with and without contrast • Prepare and administer contrast media for enhanced imaging procedures • Start peripheral IVs for contrast administration when required • Maintain patient ratio of 1:1 during procedures • Follow isolation precautions protocols for appropriate patients • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Operate various CT equipment including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba scanners • Use PACS system for image storage and retrieval • Maintain current BLS and ARRT R certifications • Work weekend shifts including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights • Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required • Complete required training modules pre-start and annually • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within comparable specialty • Maintain valid state licensure and certifications
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
