Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans in emergency department using GE and Siemens scanners (Model Name: FORCE) • Conduct 150-200 scans daily across 4 rooms • Provide CT imaging services for infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics • Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction • Handle Code Stroke and trauma patient imaging in fast-paced emergency environment • Complete 8-12 patient scans per 8-hour shift • Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT(R)(CT) certification • Utilize Epic charting system and Visage for documentation • Work weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday • Work 12-hour shifts from 08:45pm to 21:15am • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Maintain valid state licensure • Provide minimum 2 years of experience with inpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings • Comply with facility dress code requirements (Royal Blue scrubs) • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
