Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging • Conduct specialized procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, colonography, CT arthrography, and drainage procedures • Perform CTAs and multiplanar reconstruction imaging • Operate GE and Siemens CT scanners including fixed Definition and Force scanners • Provide imaging services for emergency department, inpatient, outpatient, adult ICU, and various patient populations • Perform IV starts and administer contrast as needed • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records • Work with McKesson system for departmental operations • Provide care for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients • Maintain current BLS certification • Maintain valid ARRT (CT) certification • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Participate in cardiac imaging and radiation treatment planning procedures • Assist with research-related imaging studies • Make up missed shifts within the same week when possible • Complete corporate orientation including Epic training • Participate in facility orientation with preceptor • Comply with facility dress code requirements • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
