Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Clinic to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Huntersville, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient oncology nursing care for adult surgical oncology patients
• Perform office procedures including port removals, breast biopsies, and wide local excisions
• Conduct telephone triage for patient calls and inquiries
• Provide post-surgical care for breast cancer patients
• Implement isolation precautions as required
• Document patient care activities using Epic charting system
• Handle 20-25 patient visits per day
• Call test results to patients and provide patient education
• Float between cancer institute locations as assigned
• Participate in team-based training for specialized procedures
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Pass EKG testing requirements prior to start date
• Utilize specialized equipment including Trophon Ultrasound
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements
• Complete compliance documentation and required vaccinations
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
