Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and CTAs • Operate Siemens CT equipment to conduct approximately 200 exams daily across 4 rooms • Start IVs and administer contrast as required for procedures • Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation • Chart patient information and procedures using Epic system • Provide CT services for all age groups from routine outpatients to acute emergency department patients • Work 12-hour evening shifts Wednesday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM • Participate in required Sunday call coverage 1-2 times per contract period • Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT registration with CT specialty certification • Bring personal dosimeter for radiation monitoring compliance • Complete required non-billable training modules pre-start and annually • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required • Adhere to royal blue scrub dress code requirements • Participate in unit orientation as determined by CT supervisor • Maintain 5 years minimum experience with required travel experience • Complete compliance documentation and testing within 48 hours of signing • Follow fatigue policy limitations of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week • Provide supervisor references covering comparable specialty experience
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
