Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cardiac Tele to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Winston Salem, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor patients requiring telemetry including chest pain, arrhythmias, pacemaker, or defibrillator cases
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, dobutamine, milrinone, amiodarone, Lasix and heparin
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6
• Complete 36 hours of unit orientation
• Pass EKG testing prior to start
• Utilize unit systems including Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR
• Float to other telemetry units as required
• Work 4 weekend days in a 6-week time track
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Collaborate with heart failure navigator
• Maintain current ACLS and BCLS certifications
• Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable acute care modules pre-start and annually
• Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week
• Complete required compliance documentation within 48 hours after signing
• Maintain valid RN licensure
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
