Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Anchorage, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic imaging procedures including chest, abdomen, extremities, and spine X-rays
• Operate various imaging equipment including GE, Philips, and Siemens systems
• Conduct C-Arm procedures and portable imaging for all patient care areas
• Prepare and administer contrast media for specialized studies
• Perform barium studies including swallow, upper GI series, and contrast enemas
• Provide imaging services in Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, PICU, and Operating Room settings
• Work with diverse patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Utilize PACS system for image management and Epic charting system for documentation
• Perform trauma imaging procedures in Level II trauma center environment
• Float within hospital departments and to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work 3x12 night shifts covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Maintain current ARRT-R and BLS certifications
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Comply with facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
