Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures for extremities, abdomen/GE, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal system • Operate C-Arm equipment during surgical procedures • Conduct portable chest and abdomen imaging as required • Prepare and administer contrast media for various imaging studies • Provide imaging services for patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics • Work with PACS system for image management and storage • Maintain current ARRT R certification and state licensure • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Be available for 2-4 call shifts per month as needed • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals when required • Maintain current BLS certification • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within last 3 years • Complete 40-hour orientation program • Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, 11pm to 9:30am • Complete required compliance documentation and background checks • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Adhere to facility policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
