Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PTA - Physical Therapist Assistant Rehab to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy assistant services in home health setting
• Visit up to 6 patients per day maintaining 30 productivity points standard
• Utilize EPIC Remote Client for Home Health charting and documentation
• Use Rover phone app and Oasis system for patient care management
• Travel to patient homes within 60-mile radius with own reliable transportation
• Provide skilled rehabilitation services for various conditions including post-operative care, neurological disorders, and orthopedic injuries
• Work with patients requiring mobility aids such as walkers, crutches, and prosthetics
• Deliver care for conditions including stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's disease, and traumatic brain injuries
• Maintain current BLS certification and state licensure
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Float between facilities within the state as required
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment in comparable specialty
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required
• Adhere to business casual dress code requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
