Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Tarzana, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including bone, brain, liver, renal, and sestamibi parathyroid scans • Conduct PET scans and pharmacological stress tests including Lexiscan procedures • Draw venous blood for testing procedures • Perform EKGs and myocardial imaging procedures • Operate nuclear medicine equipment including GE, Phillips, and Siemens systems • Provide patient care services for adult and geriatric populations • Maintain current BLS certification and required nuclear medicine certifications (CNMT, NMTCB or ARRT) • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Complete 40 hours of orientation training • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Float between facilities within the state as assigned • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Maintain valid state licensure and required certifications • Work in outpatient facility setting providing nuclear medicine services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
