Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammo Tech - Mammo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Newberg, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mammography procedures including screening and diagnostic mammograms using digital mammography equipment • Conduct 3-D mammography procedures using Hologic 3D technology • Assist with stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations • Support fine needle aspiration procedures and breast aspiration procedures • Perform wire localization procedures as needed • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Provide patient care services for adult and geriatric patient populations • Maintain current ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS certifications and valid state licensure • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules and compliance documentation • Work with daily census of 30-40 patients across 2 procedure rooms • Provide outpatient mammography services with 4-day work week schedule • Maintain professional standards and adhere to facility policies and procedures • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as assigned • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within comparable specialty • Complete non-billable training modules averaging 16 hours with self-reported time tracking • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays as required by facility scheduling
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
