Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic imaging procedures including extremities, abdomen/GE, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies
• Operate C-Arm equipment during surgical procedures
• Conduct portable imaging procedures including portable chest and abdomen studies
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required
• Utilize PACS system for image management and Epic charting system for documentation
• Provide radiologic services across multiple patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work in various hospital departments including Emergency Department, ICU, NICU, PICU, and Operating Room
• Maintain current ARRT R certification, BLS certification, and state licensure
• Complete 2-4 call shifts per month as preferred
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within comparable specialty
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work committed holiday schedule including 3 of 5 major holidays
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Maintain valid vehicle for transportation between facilities
• Complete 40-hour orientation program
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for radiologic services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
