Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic imaging procedures including extremities, abdomen/GE, spine/pelvis, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal studies
• Conduct portable chest and abdomen imaging as needed
• Operate C-Arm procedures in surgical settings
• Prepare and administer contrast media when required
• Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation
• Work with Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Provide imaging services across multiple patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Cover emergency department, ICU, NICU, PICU, and operating room imaging needs
• Maintain current ARRT R certification and state licensure
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Work scheduled weekend shifts (Saturday, Sunday, Monday 7am-7:30pm)
• Take call shifts 2-4 times per month as preferred
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience
• Complete compliance documentation and background requirements
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Maintain valid vehicle for transportation between facilities
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
