Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures in emergency department setting using Siemens FORCE scanner • Conduct various CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction • Handle daily caseload of 150-200 scans across 4 rooms • Work with infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics patient populations • Respond to Code Stroke and Level II trauma cases • Operate GE and Siemens scanning equipment • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Use PACS and Visage imaging systems • Perform IV starts and venipuncture procedures • Prepare and administer contrast media when required • Maintain current BLS certification • Maintain ARRT(R)(CT) certification • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually (8-10 hours non-billable) • Work weekend schedule: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 12-hour shifts (07:45am - 20:15pm) • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year) • Follow radiation safety protocols and procedures • Perform region of interest measurements (ROI) • Maintain isolation precautions when required • Complete 48 hours of orientation training • Adhere to fatigue policy restrictions (no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week) • Float between units based on skill sets and census as needed • Comply with all facility policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
