Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures for inpatients and outpatients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Operate multiple CT scanner types including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba equipment • Conduct CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, cervical, lumbar, and thoracic regions with and without contrast • Prepare and administer contrast media as required for imaging procedures • Start peripheral IVs when needed for contrast administration • Follow isolation precautions and safety protocols during patient care • Handle musculoskeletal trauma cases and emergency imaging requests • Utilize PACS system for image storage and retrieval • Document patient information and procedures using Epic charting system • Work night shifts covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday • Maintain 1:1 patient ratios during imaging procedures • Work in main department with 3 CT scanners and ED department with 2 CT scanners • Commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Float to affiliate hospitals and sister facilities as required • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT R certification • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for work duties • Maintain reliable transportation for assignment requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
