Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiogram examinations for adults and geriatric patients in outpatient and inpatient settings • Conduct various echo procedures including 3-D Echo, bubble studies, pharmacologic stress echo, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), and treadmill stress echo • Operate portable ultrasound equipment and perform bedside studies as needed • Utilize PACS system for image management and Epic charting system for documentation • Perform echo studies on complex cardiac anomalies and scanning procedures • Conduct imaging studies with and without contrast agents • Work with pediatric, neonate, and NICU patients when required • Maintain current BLS certification and required state licensure • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Provide on-call coverage including rotational weekday and weekend shifts • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Work required weekend shifts and holiday coverage as scheduled • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment • Maintain current RDCS-Adult or RCS certification • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Complete 40 hours of facility orientation • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery • Use facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
