Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - OR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Flagstaff, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care as an OR RN during 3x12 mid shifts (1030-2300) • Maintain 1:1 patient ratios in operating room setting • Work in Level 1 trauma center OR with 11 rooms handling high volume ortho, trauma and spine cases • Provide care for general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro procedures including craniotomies • Handle gunshot/stab wounds and MVA cases with multiple injuries • Perform scrubbing duties as needed across multiple specialties • Take on-call shifts with 30 minute recall time (up to 8 weekday shifts and up to 9 weekend call shifts in 13-week period) • Work weekend coverage as needed, usually every 3rd weekend • Float to other areas as helping hands based on job role and abilities • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Weekend, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day) • Maintain active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid compact license • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications • Utilize Cerner charting system for documentation • Complete 40 hours of orientation upon assignment start • Complete required modules during first week (average 6 hours, billable time) • Adhere to medication administration standards including BCMA • Provide two professional references (one from most recent employer within 1 year, second within 2 years) • Complete compliance testing within required timeframes • Submit compliance documentation by Wednesday prior to start date • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
