Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Flagstaff, AZ. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform catheterization laboratory procedures including cardiac diagnostic and intervention procedures
• Conduct peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures
• Operate specialized equipment including Rotablader, IAPB, and Impella
• Perform accurate monitoring during procedures
• Assist with angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Support electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation and mapping
• Assist with pacemaker insertion and programming of AICDs
• Maintain sterile field and scrub techniques
• Perform EKG settings and interpretation including 12-lead EKG and rhythm interpretation
• Document patient information using Cerner charting system
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain current ARRT certification and state licensure
• Be available for on-call duties (18 days of call in 8 weeks)
• Float to outpatient cath lab for procedures as needed
• Work weekends and holidays as scheduled (2 out of 3 major holidays)
• Complete required compliance documentation and training modules
• Provide two professional references covering recent employment experience
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AZ
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
