Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services and patient care as a Respiratory Therapist
• Work every third weekend as part of scheduled rotation
• Participate in holiday rotation including Christmas coverage
• Work night shift hours from 06:30 PM to 07:00 AM
• Complete license/certificate verification and maintain current licensure
• Complete required health screenings including fit testing, vaccinations, and drug screening
• Maintain current immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB screening, and Varicella
• Complete mandatory compliance forms and training including Code of Conduct and patient confidentiality agreements
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklists
• Complete Joint Commission testing and required educational modules
• Undergo background checks and maintain compliance with exclusion list screenings
• Complete child and adult dependent abuse training
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Demonstrate color vision capability for clinical responsibilities
• Complete physical/health statement verification for clinical duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
