Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services and patient care
• Work every third weekend as part of regular scheduling
• Participate in holiday rotation with one holiday assignment during contract period
• Complete license and certificate verification requirements
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete Trinity Code of Conduct training and documentation
• Submit required I-9 employment verification forms
• Sign confidentiality agreements for patient information and system security
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing for respiratory therapy
• Complete color vision screening
• Maintain current immunizations including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete tuberculosis screening via PPD or IGRA testing
• Submit physical and health statement documentation
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure forms
• Pass criminal background check requirements
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete Joint Commission required testing modules
• Demonstrate competency through skills checklist assessments
• Complete child and adult dependent abuse training
• Maintain current COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations
• Pass required drug screening
• Work assigned shift hours from 06:30 AM to 07:00 PM
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
